Mensen die naar Nederland emigreren of hier asiel aanvragen, hebben niet altijd een veilige haven gevonden anno 2021.
Samen met een organisatie die zich hard maakt voor de rechten, het goede (langdurige) verblijf en de representatie van migranten & statushouders in Nederland (Warm Welkom Noord) organiseren we een Music Moves-evenement waarbij het sociale, culturele en artistieke leven van statushouders en AZC-bewoners weer in gang wordt gezet.
Ook jij kan daaraan bijdragen. Door op verschillende manieren te helpen bij ons Welkom in Noord-event, help je mensen een nieuwe sociale kring te vinden, hun artistieke inspiratie te vinden en zich beter uit te drukken te verbinden met mensen in een "nieuw" land.
We zouden het fantastisch als je ons komt versterken en verrijken met jouw inzet!

People who migrate to the Netherlands or who are applying for asylum, will not always find themselves settled in a safe haven these days.
Paired with an organisation that is fighting for the rights, the stay and the representation of new migrants and refugees in The Netherlands (Warm Welkom Noord), we are hosting a Music Moves event in which the social, cultural and artistic lives of migrants can be ignited again, in a new environment.
During Welkom in Noord, they have the chance to participate in workshops, dance to music from different cultures, taste the food their peers bring and get to know their neighbours and neighbourhood better.
You can be a part of this: by helping us out at the event, there are different ways in which you can contribute to make the people at our event find new social connections, express themselves and gather new inspiration - in a "new" environment!
We'd be very happy if you'd join us and make this event an unforgettable one. During the event, you will:
- create stories for the Warm Welkom Noord and Music Moves Instagram pages
- ask people at the entrance for permission to be filmed / photographed
- assist in the execution of the general communication during the event
- brainstorm about concluding messages/communication and posts after the event
