GET TO KNOW US! Aris joins our Amsterdam panel and has helped us to set up Music Moves challenges. He tells us a little about himself and his connection with Music Moves.
Who are you and what do you do?
I am Aris van Ham, student of Public Governance and Management Science and a music lover.
What does music mean to you?
Every moment of the day I listen to music that can vary from hard industrial techno to Latin samba. I love to spin records and look for new songs in my spare time.
What motivates you to commit to Music Moves?
The first time I was introduced to the Music Moves concept, I immediately felt that this was something I wanted to identify with!
Why should young people sign up for Music Moves?
It is a wonderful opportunity to stand up for minorities in the Netherlands through the one thing that people need, music. It connects people who would never speak to each other. To be able to put a smile on people's faces through music is for me the main reason to join up with Music Moves.
What is your favorite tune atm?
Lately, my favorite is: Aim - Let the funk ride
